Jeanne Bilbo

Jeanne Bilbo is a contemporary, abstract artist who now paints in her home studio in Southern Florida. A native of Upstate New York, her use of various shades of blues and greens in her paintings, pay homage to the lakes on which she spent her summers in the north and the hues of the nearby ocean in her new southern home. Her distinctive personal style emanates her own joy and energy. Throughout her life, those who noticed her innate artistic talent offered opportunities to pursue her creativity. Jeanne, who is self- taught, considers herself a lifelong learner. Her art has developed with experience and hours spent at her easel. She is always looking for a new creative process , mixing colors, layering, using brushes and palette knives. She is as focused on the process as the finished piece. Her move to the Delray Beach area opened up several opportunities within the art community, and she spent a few years working and showing her art at The Heart Of Delray Gallery. Her current body of work can be seen up close and personal at POSH Design Studio, in Delray Beach.
